Submit Service Hours
Every small act helps grow something bigger.
Little Acorns is all about helping others, caring for your community, and showing that kids can make a real difference — starting right where you are.
Did you help someone? Clean up a park? Make cards for seniors?
You can log it here and watch your impact grow!
Each hour you serve = 1 point toward Little Acorns rewards and recognition.
You can come back anytime to log another act of kindness.
What Counts as Service?
Little Acorns celebrates helping others beyond your household. Service should benefit your community, neighbors, animals, or the environment — not everyday responsibilities at home.
Great examples
Making cards for seniors, hospitals, or shelters
Donating items you collected for a cause
Helping at a school or community event
Cleaning parks, playgrounds, or public spaces
Volunteering with an organization
Creating care kits for people in need
Helping someone outside your family who needed support
Not counted as service hours
Household chores (cleaning your room, dishes, laundry)
Babysitting siblings
Helping parents with normal responsibilities
Tasks you are paid or rewarded to do
School assignments required for a grade
When in doubt — ask: Did this help someone outside my own household?
Little Acorns is a youth service initiative designed to encourage community involvement. Children may participate independently or with help from a parent/guardian. By participating, families understand that service activities are self-directed and Little Acorns does not supervise individual projects or events. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring activities are age-appropriate and safe.
Little Acorns may review submissions and adjust hours if an activity does not meet program guidelines.
